Meeting Summary

“99 Seconds” Networking holiday event December 12, 2002 at Creshiem Cottage.

Creshiem Cottage was a cozy environment for our joint holiday networking event with members and guests of ASTD.  Although the quarters were tight, spirits were bright as we were delighted to hear from some creative PRODN and ASTD members who had 99 seconds (timed!) to complete a memorable presentation. If you were there you may have gasped at the ingenuity of Marjorie Winther as she magically put an egg into a bottle that appeared too small for entry (now if I could only do that with my favorite black pants!).  Other presentations included music, poetry, unabashed plugs and another favorite: “You know you’ve been a trainer too long if… you recalled separating guests into breakout groups for holiday discussions or coaxing individuals to make their own holiday place card using a variety of scented magic markers.”

It was a treat to catch up with PRODN friends and meet or renew friendships with ASTD members.

January 16 Monthly Meeting <http://www.prodn.org/programs/0203/2003-1-16.html> - The Meta Model of Change Edie Seashore and Dr. Michael Broom (PCOM City Line Avenue) 5:30 - 9:00

The Meta Model of Change provides the foundation for understanding the multiple facets of effective organizational intervention.  The model was developed by renowned organization development practitioners, Edith Whitfield Seashore and Dr. Michael Broom for use in the Johns Hopkins Fellows in the Management of Change Program.  It is currently being used in the OD Practitioners Programs being held in New York City, Columbia, Maryland, and Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
